My goal is to help men improve their health, wealth, relationships, and overall wellbeing through journaling.
I am someone who has always enjoyed writing. Whether that’s writing (bad) poetry or first drafts of ambitious fantasy novels, the written word has always appealed and helped me to make sense of what is going on in my life at any given time.
When my daughter was born, I didn’t want to forget any of her earliest moments, but with the lack of sleep and the crazy, world-turning-upside-downedness of having a new born baby, I knew that soon, these moments, no matter how precious, would be distant, hazy memories.
At the same time, I was changing jobs, I’d put on weight that I was unhappy about (the dreaded dad bod!) and I was just going through a lot of general ‘life stress’. It was for these reasons that I began journaling. Every day I’d recap my day, document how I was feeling or some vital statistics about my body and diet, make a note of some quote I’d read or review a book I’d just finished.
In very little time, I’d built up a journaling habit, and began to feel the multitude of benefits that comes from journaling. This blog aims to share those benefits with others, as well as tips to get started, tips to keep going, and prompts to help you take on that blank page.
